Fall 2025 Craft Supply Swap in Numbers 📈 ( Facebook, Instagram)

• 1 amazing location for sorting and the swap (THANK YOU Old Lumberyard!)

• 7 early drop-off locations in Park, Gallatin, and Sweet Grass Counties

• 4,126.5 pounds of craft supplies donated by our generous community!!!!

• 31 tables of craft supplies

• 224 total people who came to get craft supplies

• 132 people checked in at drop off locations

• 95 people who dropped off supplies and returned during early swapper shopping

• 3,376.6 pounds of craft supplies that found new homes

• 750 pounds of leftovers ready for the next part of their journey to find new homes

• 27 super volunteers who helped in so many ways

• 98 volunteer hours

• 2 organizations that received leftover craft supplies

• 25 people who voted to have another swap in fall 2026

• 68 people who voted to have another swap in spring 2026. Spring 2026 is the winner!

• 324 dollars donated to help continue to find new homes for unused craft supplies

• 1 growing community of people who love to craft and share craft supplies with others!

• Soooo many volunteers how have made all of this possible. Volunteers have provided storage, site organization and sorting, social media, coordination, advertising, transportation, carrying heavy things, and so much more…

We 💜 Our Volunteers

The Swap is run entirely by volunteers and it’s a labor of love for these folks!! 💖 From the core group of organizing volunteers to people who dropped supplies off on swap day and offered to jump in to volunteer to sort and arrange drop offs, it’s because of ALL of you that this Swap happened! Every single volunteer minute and every single task you did as a volunteer made it possible! And a very special Spreadsheet Wizard volunteer is behind our numbers and all kinds of tracking.

Monday, November, 25, 2024 - Thanks for a great first swap! I made Facebook/Instagram accounts for the swap since this event seems to be a keeper. I will be distributing requested materials on Tuesday and Wednesday this week, with support from the Livingston Center for Art and Culture. The rest will be stored for the next swap, since there is interest! Twelve people raised their hands to make the next swap happen and there's $72 in the swap organization jar, which is right around what it cost to print posters, signs, and place ads, and that makes it easier next time! Thanks! I'll be reaching out to helpers this week and after the holiday to figure out what's next. 

Thanks for joining in this event. It was great to meet all of you and see lots of happy faces discovering treasures brought in from our community.
